2025 Winter Harbor Groups
Harbor Groups Are Back!
After a short hiatus, Harbor Groups are returning this winter.
During the week we desire the people of Harbor to meet together with intentionality, seeking to put into practice in the world what we experienced in the sanctuary. Harbor Groups are smaller groups for the people who worship with Harbor Anglican on Sundays. In these smaller groups we allow our experience of the gospel through Sunday’s liturgy to shape our everyday liturgies.
While each group is unique, all Harbor Groups are all shaped to some extent by the practices of the early church (Acts 2:42-47): studying Scripture, breaking bread, fellowship, and prayer.

North Seattle Group
We are a co-ed, intergenerational group that meets in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle. Our group will gather around a light meal with guided discussion following worship every other Sunday to discuss matters of faith and life. The group will be led by Dave and Carol Andersen (note: this group is at or near capacity so we encourage you to check out one of the other groups). If you are interested in more details, please email Carol Andersen or text 206-999-7404.
South Seattle Group
We are a co-ed, intergenerational group that meets in West Seattle. Our group will gather every other week and will be led by Andrew and Sophie Hamby. If you are interested in more details, please email Andrew Hamby.
Men’s Harbor Group
We are a group of men at Harbor who seek to be formed into the men God has called us to be. In some sense, we already are those people, by virtue of the saving work of Christ. In another sense, we are continuing to be formed and shaped into the character of Jesus. We will be reading and discussing Rediscovering Holiness by J.I. Packer. The group will be led by David Bettis and Todd Baty and meet Tuesday evenings twice a month. If you’re interested in more details, please email David Bettis.
Women’s Harbor Group
We are a group of women who are choosing to be known to each other in order to better speak the truth to (and hear the truth from) each other—the amazing, the hard, the familiar, the paradoxical, the shocking, the beautiful truth as laid out in the Word. This winter we'll be reading and discussing Scripture together. The group is co-lead by Jen Bedell and Julie Bettis; for more information or if you'd like to join, please email Julie Bettis.
